I could not be more proud of my holistic fitness center, Active Kat Yoga and Energy Rejuvenation Center.
In 2002 I opened Active Kat Yoga with a borrowed space and a few yoga mats in hopes of being able to introduce the healing benefits of yoga. At that time, little was known about yoga, much less its benefits. It was just one of those things that people had seen something about on Oprah. And though the beginning was a huge struggle, I knew I had to stay on the path that I was on and keep trying to get people to try it. All the while trying to quench my thirst for more knowledge of yoga, and other modalities.
Today, Active Kat Yoga is one of the premier yoga studios in Southeast Missouri offering Yoga, Pilates and related arts such as Barre, Aerial Yoga, and Reformer, and has expanded to include our Energy Rejuvenation Center offering Traditional Naturopathic, Reiki, Reflexology, Ayurveda and Health Coaching.
We are a Registered Yoga School with the Yoga Alliance offering teacher training and CEU's.
